5. I have a PDF document, which eSignatureOffice either does not correctly open, display or allow to sign. What could be the reason for this?

The inner structure of different PDF documents can vary greatly, depending on the tool, which was used to create this PDF file.

We try to develop our PDF libraries according to the ISO standard for the correspondent PDF version, but unfortunately some PDFs diverge from these standards and so can cause problems. If you have problems with a particular PDF document, you can send it to support@stepover.de for an analysis.

However, there are some document types and functions, which we generally do not support. Amongst these are LifeCycle documents, JavaScript functions and multimedia elements within PDFs.
