If you want to customize your installation, where the settings will not override the settings from a default installation, you can place a text file with the name "customer.name" inside the installation folder of eSignatureOffice. Inside the file you need to define the customer name for which you want to customize the installation. With the customer.name the settings (program.ini) will not be stored at the same location which us used by the default installation. 

 

DefaultC:\Users\...\AppData\Local\StepOver\eSignatureOffice 5.7

With customer.name file

(content of the file: XZY)

C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\StepOver\eSignatureOffice 5.7 for XZY


With the customer.name file the registry entry for the installation are also different (like:  Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\StepOver\eSignatureOffice 5.7 for XYZ).
